Two systems, one standard
Gel-X Extensions — Gel-X uses pre-shaped soft gel tips that are bonded directly over the natural nail. Because the tips come pre-made, the application is slightly faster than hard gel while maintaining the same clean, precise finish. Available in any size with gel polish included. Gel-X is a good entry point for clients new to extensions who want a lightweight, natural-feeling result.
Hard Gel Extensions — Hard gel is sculpted directly over the natural nail using paper or dual forms, giving the technician full control over shape, length, and structure. A builder gel that adds strength and reinforcement to the natural nail while creating the extension. The better choice for clients who want more structure, a specific shape, or longer lengths. Available in short, medium, and long.
Both systems are performed safely using an e-file — no soaking, no damage to the natural nail underneath.
Refills
Hard gel extensions are maintained with a refill appointment as the natural nail grows. Most clients book refills every 2–3 weeks depending on length, lifestyle, and aftercare. Refill pricing varies by length. If you're coming in from another salon with existing extensions, book a removal first so we can assess the natural nail before applying a new set.
How do I care for nail extensions after my appointment?
Treat extensions as reinforced nails, not glue-on tips you can peel. Do not pick, peel, or bite at the free edge or the product near the cuticle — that lifts the structure and can damage the natural nail underneath. Avoid using your nails as tools (opening cans, scraping labels).
Keep hands out of prolonged water soaks when you can, and use gloves for dishwashing or cleaning. Moisturize cuticles, but keep heavy oils off the product surface right after application so adhesion can settle. If an extension cracks or lifts early, book a refill or repair rather than filing or soaking at home.
Professional removal is available when you want a break or a reset — safer than home soak-offs or peeling product away yourself.
Who it's for
Nail extensions are suited to clients who want length and structure beyond what their natural nail currently provides. They work well for clients whose nails break before they reach their desired length, or who want a specific shape — almond, square, coffin — that their natural nail can't hold on its own.
If you're not looking for length but want to strengthen your natural nail, our Ukrainian Manicure with hard gel overlay is the more appropriate service — it adds the same builder gel reinforcement without the extension.
