Gel manicures that still look clean three or four weeks later come down to adhesion at the cuticle — not just the polish brand. At My Beauty Space, Ukrainian manicure is our dry e-file method: no soak, precise prep close to the cuticle line, and a finish built to wear longer than a traditional wet manicure.

Book this serviceUnlike a standard manicure, Ukrainian manicure uses no water, no soaking, and no softening agents. Instead, a precision e-file works close to the cuticle line to remove dead skin and prep the nail surface properly. The result is a cleaner edge, better product adhesion, and a finish that holds for 3–4 weeks without lifting or chipping.
If you've searched for a Russian manicure near you, you're likely looking for the same thing — the dry e-file technique is the same method, known by different names. At My Beauty Space, we've been refining this approach since we opened, and it's the foundation of every nail service we offer.
Every Ukrainian manicure starts with the same precise dry prep. What changes is the finish you choose:
No Polish — All the cuticle work and shaping, no colour applied. A clear polish can be applied on request. The right choice between colour sets or for clients who prefer a clean, bare nail. Nails are left smooth, shaped, and healthy-looking.
Regular Polish — Traditional nail polish applied over a dry-prepped nail. Because the cuticle work is done with an e-file first, the polish sits closer to the cuticle line than a standard salon finish. Wear time is typically 5–7 days.
Gel Polish — Gel polish applied over a properly prepped natural nail. Chip-resistant, glossy, and long-lasting. The dry prep underneath is what gives gel nails their longevity here — clients regularly see 3–4 weeks of wear before a new set is needed.
Hard Gel — A builder gel that adds strength and reinforcement to the natural nail. The better choice for clients with thin, flexible, or breaking nails who want durability and a long-lasting finish. Available in short, medium, long, and extra long lengths.
Ukrainian manicure is suited to clients who want a precise, long-lasting result and are done settling for nails that lift after a week. It's a good fit if you've had gel nails near you that didn't hold, if you've struggled with thin or damaged nails, or if you simply want the cleanest possible finish from a manicure appointment.
It's also a practical choice for busy schedules. With 3–4 weeks of reliable wear, you're not coming back every two weeks to fix lifting edges.
If you want to make the most of your appointment, our 4/6 Hand Services let you combine your manicure with a pedicure or brows — done simultaneously by separate technicians so you leave with everything done in one visit.
